Thursday, April 27th in Cologne
Invent and develop with other new ideas for Amazons Alexa. Implement your ideas as rapid prototyp within four hours. you can join other teams with great ideas as well as pitch your own ideas at the beginning of the hackathon.
Alexa Skills can be developed with any (backend-) programming language. We will start the hackathon with an introduction which will enable you to develop your first skill. Also non developers are invited to pitch their Ideas and Concepts and get part of this venture.
Adopt your existing app or create something new. For example, connect Alexa with a Smart Home device, your own existing API, an API from one of our event partner or you some open data. Be creative!

Benedikts Vortrag will describe the future of retail.
He will try to pull us out of our daily problems and to give us new impulses to the hackathon. Be curious!
Kay Lerch works on different 3rd party Alexa Skills for well known companies in Germany. He give regular talks within the community and is contributor of the reference implementation and different Open Source Alexa SDKs.
He will give a short introduction into the Alexa Skills Kit, the API opportunities and restrictions.
So that you can focus on the implementation of an idea, we are happy to have some developers which will help you with troubleshooting.
